Description

OMEX Ferromex Moss Killer Concentrate for the control of moss in lawn turf.

Ferromex is an easy-to-use liquid moss killer and lawn feed to control moss and encourage healthy growth of lawn grass. It designed to combat problems such as filamentous bulking, pin flocs, poor floc structure and turbid euent.

Ferromex's advanced formulation results in the lowest recommended application rate for any liquid moss killer available in the UK.

Ferromex products are combinations of inorganic iron, complex iron and bio-available trace elements created for activated sludge and other aerobic plants to assist with sludge settlement, flocculation and to improve a plants biological health.

The OMEX Ferromex range uses a gentle coagulant and biomass conditioning agent, based on iron, to improve sludge settlement and to lower suspended solids in the final effluent of wastewater treatment systems. This gentle action means Ferromex will not concentrate within a system or over-flocculate, thereby avoiding problems with flotation. This range can also be used in conjunction with the Nutromex range to meet individual needs of specific effluent systems.

Clover Multi-Purpose Compost is a peat-based growing medium for all plants. It is suitable for seed sowing, potting-on, containers, hanging baskets, tubs, vegetables, and bedding plants. It’s one of the most versatile composts for both home and professional gardeners.

Yes, Clover Multi-Purpose is an all-purpose compost designed for almost every type of plant. However, for lime-hating plants such as rhododendrons, camellias, and azaleas, we recommend using an ericaceous compost for best results.

Clover Multi-Purpose is peat-based, giving it superior water-holding capacity, root aeration, and consistent performance. Many gardeners prefer it over peat-free options for reliability, though we also stock peat-free alternatives if you want an eco-friendly choice.

Yes, this compost is enriched with nutrients to feed plants for up to 4–6 weeks after planting. For longer-term growth, simply add a liquid or granular fertiliser once the initial feed runs out.

Absolutely. The fine, consistent texture makes it excellent for seed germination and young seedlings. Just follow your seed packet instructions for sowing depth and watering.

Yes. This compost has excellent moisture retention and drainage, making it one of the best composts for hanging baskets, patio tubs, and containers. It helps prevent plants from drying out too quickly, especially in warm weather.

No, it is not certified organic as it contains peat and added fertiliser. If you’re looking for an organic compost, we can recommend suitable peat-free alternatives.
