Description

THE ECONOMICAL SOIL SURFACTANT WITH STAYING POWER.

Aquatrols® Fifty90 is an economical alternative for those interested in a longer lasting surfactant. Fifty90 is proven to remain effective in the soil for up to three months, reducing water repellency and localised dry spots. Unlike some "longer-term" surfactants, Fifty90 is effective regardless of turf type, environmental or climatic stress conditions.

It can be used at various rates, depending on the duration of effect required by the applicator. Fifty90 is easily applied with conventional spray equipment.

Key Benefits of Fifty90

  • Consistent 90 day control over soil water repellency and localised dry spots
  • Does not break down due to stressful weather conditions
  • No initial decline in turf quality that you see with many other competitive products
  • Improves water movement and combats water repellency issues
  • Safe for use on all turf varieties
  • Economical to use on large turf areas like fairways and sports fields

Where And When To Use

Fifty90 is recommended for use on turfgrasses such as those found on golf courses, athletic fields and in lawn and landscape situations to enhance turf quality and the efficient use of water, labor and other inputs. Fifty90 may be safely applied at any time during the growing season.

Initial Application

Begin applications at least one month prior to the onset of stress conditions. Under high stress situations, such as presence of localised dry spot (LDS), above average growing degree days (GDD), and/or low rainfall, an application of Aqueduct® should be applied 7 days prior to the first application of Fifty90.

Application Rate

  • Apply at 50 litres/hectare in 2000 litres of water.
  • Apply a post-treatment syringe cycle to activate.
  • For control beyond three months, a subsequent application of 25 litres/hectare in 1000 litres of water may be required.
  • Also may be applied in a split cycle using 25 litres/ hectare in 1000 litres of water, followed 7-10 days later by a second application at the same rate.
  • Apply a post-treatment syringe cycle to activate.

Fifty90 can be safely applied in a tank mix with a range of commonly used turf chemicals and fertilizers at rates not exceeding 180 mL/100 m2. When turf managers are selecting a new tank mix combination with Fifty90, Aquatrols® recommends a jar test be conducted to determine compatibility prior to large volume tank mixing

Clover Multi-Purpose Compost is a peat-based growing medium for all plants. It is suitable for seed sowing, potting-on, containers, hanging baskets, tubs, vegetables, and bedding plants. It’s one of the most versatile composts for both home and professional gardeners.

Yes, Clover Multi-Purpose is an all-purpose compost designed for almost every type of plant. However, for lime-hating plants such as rhododendrons, camellias, and azaleas, we recommend using an ericaceous compost for best results.

Clover Multi-Purpose is peat-based, giving it superior water-holding capacity, root aeration, and consistent performance. Many gardeners prefer it over peat-free options for reliability, though we also stock peat-free alternatives if you want an eco-friendly choice.

Yes, this compost is enriched with nutrients to feed plants for up to 4–6 weeks after planting. For longer-term growth, simply add a liquid or granular fertiliser once the initial feed runs out.

Absolutely. The fine, consistent texture makes it excellent for seed germination and young seedlings. Just follow your seed packet instructions for sowing depth and watering.

Yes. This compost has excellent moisture retention and drainage, making it one of the best composts for hanging baskets, patio tubs, and containers. It helps prevent plants from drying out too quickly, especially in warm weather.

No, it is not certified organic as it contains peat and added fertiliser. If you’re looking for an organic compost, we can recommend suitable peat-free alternatives.
