Osmocote® Exact Standard 8-9M gives season long nutrition release, ensuring plants receive the nutrition they need. The blue colour-coded granules make sure applications aren't mixed up for different longevities.

smocote Exact Standard, releases nutrition consistently throughout the growing season, in line with the plants’ requirements. This regular, continuous release makes it ideal for almost all growing situations. It’s especially well-suited to evergreens and deciduous shrubs, that can only be applied in one release pattern. It can also be used where plants’ nutrient demands are consistent throughout the growing cycle.

  • Ideal for pot plants, with a slightly shorter nutrient release period than Osmocote® Exact Standard 8-9M
  • Safety: highest possible safety, controlled release and high level of all essential trace elements. Color-coded for longevity to avoid mistakes
  • Consistency: very consistent product, every bag of product gives identical results, excellent quality control exceeding all industry standards
  • Patterned release: available in various release patterns exactly tailored to crop requirements, to provide optimal plant growth. Very efficient and therefore environmentally friendly

Clover Multi-Purpose Compost is a peat-based growing medium for all plants. It is suitable for seed sowing, potting-on, containers, hanging baskets, tubs, vegetables, and bedding plants. It’s one of the most versatile composts for both home and professional gardeners.

Yes, Clover Multi-Purpose is an all-purpose compost designed for almost every type of plant. However, for lime-hating plants such as rhododendrons, camellias, and azaleas, we recommend using an ericaceous compost for best results.

Clover Multi-Purpose is peat-based, giving it superior water-holding capacity, root aeration, and consistent performance. Many gardeners prefer it over peat-free options for reliability, though we also stock peat-free alternatives if you want an eco-friendly choice.

Yes, this compost is enriched with nutrients to feed plants for up to 4–6 weeks after planting. For longer-term growth, simply add a liquid or granular fertiliser once the initial feed runs out.

Absolutely. The fine, consistent texture makes it excellent for seed germination and young seedlings. Just follow your seed packet instructions for sowing depth and watering.

Yes. This compost has excellent moisture retention and drainage, making it one of the best composts for hanging baskets, patio tubs, and containers. It helps prevent plants from drying out too quickly, especially in warm weather.

No, it is not certified organic as it contains peat and added fertiliser. If you’re looking for an organic compost, we can recommend suitable peat-free alternatives.
