Melcourt SylvaGrow® John Innes No.1 is a high-quality, peat-free, loam-based compost designed for seedlings, rooted cuttings and young plants at the early stages of growth. It offers the familiar structure of a traditional John Innes compost, updated with a modern, sustainable formulation.

The carefully balanced mix is made from fine bark, wood fibre, sterilised loam and grit, creating a friable, free-draining structure that supports healthy root development. A low-level nutrient charge provides gentle feeding for approximately 3–5 weeks, helping young plants establish without overstimulation.

Ideal for use in seed trays, modules and small pots, SylvaGrow John Innes No.1 is suitable for vegetables, ornamentals, herbs and bedding plants.
