Our General Grade Irish Moss Peat is a high-quality milled peat sourced from Ireland, ideal for a wide range of horticultural and agricultural applications. With a fine to medium particle range (0–20mm), this versatile peat is perfectly suited for compost mixes for bedding plants and pot plants, helping to improve moisture retention, aeration, and root development. It is also highly effective as a soil conditioner, enhancing soil structure and workability, and can be used as animal bedding, offering good absorbency and comfort.

The peat has an Air Filled Porosity (AFP) of 11–13% and a naturally acidic pH of 3.8–4.2, making it ideal for blending into specialist growing media or for applications requiring low pH conditions.
