REPORTABLE SUBSTANCE

Home Office Precursor Registration with East Riding Horticulture Ltd

Reportable poisons and explosives prescursors do not require the purchaser to hold a Home Office licence. They can be supplied if the request is not suspicious and after considering whether more appropriate commercial alternatives and sellers are available.

New Not-hazardous-for-transport V.2 Formulation of the established Solufeed acidic fertilisers for use in hard water.

Highly effective soluble fertilizers especially recommended for problematic hard waters where the performance ordinary products may be adversely affected.

Original Superior products sold successfully for 11 years but were classified as hazardous for transport and this made them difficult to distribute. These v.2 products are not classified as hazardous for transport, but retain their acidifying capability, contain no urea and have a very similar analysis to the original products.

Note that unlike the original products, these v.2 product cannot be mixed with calcium nitrate in the same stock tank.

BENEFITS

  • Mostly nitrate nitrogen for immediate availability.
  • Zero ureic nitrogen - suitable for a wide range of crops and growing media.
  • Acidic formulation:
  • Will reduce water pH for growers with hard water.
  • Rapidly and completely soluble.
  • Fully chelated balanced mix of trace elements.
  • Suitable for a wide range of crops from pot plants to soft fruit.
  • Made exclusively by Solufeed using the unique Pekacid™ raw material.
  • Low hazard in use, handling and storage.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Solufeed Superior v.2 fertilizers are used in the same way as other soluble fertilizers. The normal method is to make up a 10% stock solution (1 kg of Solufeed Superior dissolved in 10 litres of water) which is further diluted 1:100 giving a final dilution of 1 gram of Solufeed Superior per litre of irrigation water.

DIECTIONS FOR USE

Prepare a stock solution by dissolving 1 kg Solufeed Superior v.2 fertilizer in 10 litres of water and then further dilute 1:100 for the final fertigation solution applied to the crop.

Mixing with other fertilizers

Solufeed Superior v.2 fertilizers can be mixed with many other fertilizers without problem. However, it is not possible with these not-hazardous-for-transport v.2 products to mix with calcium nitrate in concentrated solution.

Clover Multi-Purpose Compost is a peat-based growing medium for all plants. It is suitable for seed sowing, potting-on, containers, hanging baskets, tubs, vegetables, and bedding plants. It’s one of the most versatile composts for both home and professional gardeners.

Yes, Clover Multi-Purpose is an all-purpose compost designed for almost every type of plant. However, for lime-hating plants such as rhododendrons, camellias, and azaleas, we recommend using an ericaceous compost for best results.

Clover Multi-Purpose is peat-based, giving it superior water-holding capacity, root aeration, and consistent performance. Many gardeners prefer it over peat-free options for reliability, though we also stock peat-free alternatives if you want an eco-friendly choice.

Yes, this compost is enriched with nutrients to feed plants for up to 4–6 weeks after planting. For longer-term growth, simply add a liquid or granular fertiliser once the initial feed runs out.

Absolutely. The fine, consistent texture makes it excellent for seed germination and young seedlings. Just follow your seed packet instructions for sowing depth and watering.

Yes. This compost has excellent moisture retention and drainage, making it one of the best composts for hanging baskets, patio tubs, and containers. It helps prevent plants from drying out too quickly, especially in warm weather.

No, it is not certified organic as it contains peat and added fertiliser. If you’re looking for an organic compost, we can recommend suitable peat-free alternatives.
